Asemic Creations

The Asemic Creations Process blends various techniques to access and articulate the subconscious. It starts with Asemic writing, a method rooted in automatic drawing and writing. This approach is uniquely unstructured, allowing for the free-flowing expression of thoughts and emotions without conventional language or form constraints. Asemic writing acts as a gateway to the subconscious, offering a visual form to inner experiences and thoughts that are otherwise inexpressible through standard linguistic means.

After the initial phase of Asemic writing, the process advances to cultivating spontaneous inner images. This stage is about capturing the ephemeral and often fleeting images that surface from the depths of the subconscious. It requires an openness and readiness to perceive these internal visualizations, which might manifest as abstract shapes, patterns, or more defined images. The key is spontaneity and unfiltered acceptance of whatever arises, without judgment or forced interpretation.

The final phase involves elaborating these spontaneous inner images through active imagination drafts. Active imagination, a concept popularized by Carl Jung, engages with the subconscious mind's images, allowing them to evolve and take on new forms or narratives. The initial asemic outputs are further developed into more complex, detailed, and meaningful compositions in this stage. This could involve transforming abstract asemic patterns into more structured forms or expanding on a rudimentary image to create a detailed narrative or visual landscape.

Throughout the Asemic Creations Process, the emphasis is on free, unguided subconscious exploration. The aim is to tap into the rich reservoir of imagery and symbolism beneath the conscious mind, bringing it to the surface in a tangible, visual form. This process is not just a method of creating art; it's a journey into the self, providing insight into the deeper layers of the psyche and offering a unique form of self-expression and personal discovery.

DataMining Experiment:Consciousness

Thought Experiment: This investigation examines if AI, equipped with the vast pool of human creativity and online knowledge, can replicate a synthetic collective consciousness similar to human universal archetypes.

Methodology: We employed two distinct prompts within NightCafe's AI for image generation:

1. We combined a human-generated Asemic image with the word "consciousness" as the prompt.

2. Separately, we used the singular prompt "consciousness."

Through these methods, we amassed hundreds of AI-generated images.

Findings: Analysis of the AI-generated data uncovered a recurring thematic portrayal of consciousness as demonstrated by the video creation. This pattern indicates that AI may exhibit a semblance of the human collective subconscious.
